Volleyball Freshman, Mackenna Johnson and Anika Weber, Named to Region XIII All Region Team

Blue Knights volleyball freshman, Mackenna Johnson (opposite) and Anika Weber (setter), were named to the Region XIII All Region Volleyball Team on Wednesday.

Mackenna finished her first season with 318 kills (3.12 kills/set), 43 service aces, 326 digs, and 50 total blocks.

"Kenna was instrumental in our success this season. She took a lot of swings for us and was a presence that teams had to find an answer to on the court. She will only continue to improve and make even more of a statement next season!," said head coach Jen Bowman.

Anika Weber finished her first season ranked 7th in NJCAA Div II with 10.60 assists/set. She had a total of 1039 assists, 43 aces, 288 digs, and 26 total blocks.

"Anika led our offense this year with precision and consistency. She was a huge reason why our team was so successful this season. She made great decisions on who to set, and her sets were very consistent.  Her leadership and on court demeanor helped our team battle and improve each time we stepped on the court. She is a phenomenal setter who keeps getting better every day. I can't wait to see what Anika does next season!," said Jen Bowman.

Congratulations Mackenna and Anika!
