Blue Knights beat Gogebic 3–0 in playoffs

The Dakota County Technical College volleyball team defeated the Gogebic Community College Lady Samsons 3–0 Thursday evening, October 25, 2018, to advance to the NJCAA Division II Region 13 Final Four. The Blue Knights (20–9) hosted the playoff match on the team's home court in the Activities building gym on the Inver Grove Heights campus of Inver Hills Community College.

The NJCAA Region 13 Final Four Tournament will be hosted by North Dakota State College of Science Saturday, October 27, and Sunday, October 28, 2018, in Wahpeton, North Dakota. The Blue Knights (20–9) are the #3 seed and play the #2 seed Bismarck State College Mystics (26–7) at 5 p.m. Saturday evening.

The NDSCS Wildcats (26–2), #1 seed, play the Lake Region State College Lady Royals (25–12), #4 seed, in Saturday's first match at 3 p.m. The two winners meet for the NJCAA DII Region 13 Championship Game Sunday at 11 a.m.
