The Blue Knights volleyball team won their first match of the season against 5th ranked St. Cloud Technical & CC on Wednesday night, in St. Cloud. The Blue Knights won in 5 sets with scores of 25-21, 27-25, 24-26, 20-25, and 15-12.

The team was led by freshman, Mackenna Johnson, who had a double-double with 14 kills and 16 kills. Freshman Lexi Wendland also had a double double with 13 kills and 24 digs. Sophomore Sam Carr added 13 kills and 4 blocks. Freshman Anika Weber had 50 assists. Freshman Haily Dabrowski added 23 digs. 

The Blue Knights are 1-0 and will take on the NDSCS Wildcats on Friday, August 31st in North Dakota. Their first home match will be Tuesday, September 4th against St. Thomas University JV.
