Volleyball Drops 2 over weekend

The Blue Knights volleyball team played 2 really tough teams in Marshalltown over the weekend and lost both matches. The Knights played Marshalltown the first match and lost in 4 sets (17-25, 20-25, 27-25, 20-25). 

Destiny Cox led the team with 11 kills. Sam Car added 9 kills and 2 solo blocks, Kim Stinnett added 7 kills with a .375 hitting percentage, while Chelsea Kiewel added 21 digs.

The Knights then played a talented Southwestern Iowa team and lost in 3 sets. (11-25, 16-25, 25-27). 

After a tough road schedule the past few weeks, the volleyball team is excited to be playing back at home this week. The team plays Gustavus JV at home on Tuesday, and hosts Sub Region opponents, Lake Region and Gogebic, at home on Saturday afternoon.
