Volleyball Signs Taniel Schellbach

Taniel Schellbach will be playing volleyball for the Blue Knights in fall. Taniel is currently on the DCTC softball team and will finish her career on the volleyball court.

We asked Taniel some questions to get to know her better:

Tell us a little about yourself and about your volleyball history up to this point:

My name is Taniel Schellbach and I'm from Rush City MN. I graduated from Rush City High School in 2015. Throughout my years of high school from 7th-12th grade I played volleyball gymnastics and softball along with a winter JO club called Rush Volleyball. I enjoyed volleyball a lot and thought I was done after high school, and I'm glad to say that I'll be playing it again.

List the years and names of volleyball teams you've played for:

7th through 12th grade Rush City Tigers Volleyball.

Rush winter JO traveling volleyball team.

What other interests/hobbies or activities do you participate in?

I race snowmobiles for speed records, I hunt, fish, and spend time with my family

Why did you choose DCTC?
I chose DCTC because I was very interested in their softball team which I got offered a scholarship and am now on and have been for the past 2 years. Next fall I will graduate with an AAS degree as a Patient Care Technician.

"I am happy to welcome Taniel to our volleyball team. She has a great attitude and work ethic, and I think she will be a great asset to our team." said coach Jen Bowman.
