Abbie Gotham earns DII Women's Soccer Athlete of the Week honors

Abbie Gotham is a multi-tooled soccer player for the Dakota County Blue Knights. Last week, she put on her usual keeper attire and went to work in net against Division III Rochester (Minn.). In the game she helped DCTC to a 3-0 win coming up with nine saves over the course of 90 minutes. It was her first shutout this season, and first time she didn’t have to come up with double digit saves. She has 66 saves in five games in net this year. Later in the week, Gotham was asked to play forward against Lake Superior (Minn.) She flourished, scoring four goals in a 7-3 win.
