The DCTC Blue Knights women's soccer team wrapped up the season last week. The team finished the season with a 7-8 overall record.

Meghan Larson, a sophomore, led the team with 12 goals. Kathryn Claeys, a freshman, followed that up with 11 goals for the season. Meghan and Kathryn also led the team with 7 assists each.

The season started out fast for the Blue Knights, with a record of 6-3. However, injuries took a toll on the team and the team played most of the season without their goal keeper, Allison Soeffker.

Even though the injury bug plagued the team, the girls came together and there was growth by many of the team's young players. Overall, the team put out a successful season, especially given the hurdles the group had to endure.

The Blue Knights women's soccer team will have 8 returning players next year.
