Dakota County Technical College has announced that Riley Vander Pal has signed a National Letter of Intent to play softball for the Blue Knights starting in the fall of 2022! Vander Pal is a strong, powerful explosive hitter that plays catcher and 3^rd base.  Riley has received both offense and defensive recognition in her career.

Her parents are Brad and Heather Vander Pal. She plays for Sydney Dwyer at Eastview High School and plays Club softball for the Lady Storm and Chad Dye.

Riley's academic interest is Welding and she will be enrolled in that program.

Tom Cross, the head coach at DCTC says " Riley will be a terrific addition to our team! She is a solid player that can really hit and will play good defense!  Her future is very bright!"
