Softball fall to Dawson: Play Bay College Sunday to go to the championship

DCTC watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in an 11-2 loss to Dawson on Saturday. Dawson Community College scored on a double by Hadley Bennett, a single by Shelby Martin, a home run by Reannon Justice , a home run by Kylee Hergenrider , a single by Bennett, and a double by Martin in the first inning. The Blue Knights struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Dawson Community College Dawson Community College Softball Varsity, giving up 11 runs.Megan Manor took the loss, she lasted three innings, allowing 14 hits and 11 runs while striking out two. Kalley Partyka, Mia Haugen, Bailey Larkin, Lexi Lasso, and Haily Dabrowski each managed one hit.
