Softball Heads to Glendive, MT for the NJCAA Region XIII Division II Softball Championships

DCTC will head to the Region XIII Tournament as the #3 seed and play the #6 seed Williston State College on Friday at 12:00pm.  Offensively the Blue Knights are lead by Deymbre Avalos and Bailey Larkin.  Avalos is hitting .451 with 5 doubles 7 Home Runs, 32 RBI and Larkin hitting .382 with 5 doubles, 3 triples, 14 RBI.  On the mound, Courtney Heagle and Megan Manor have shared the Blue Knights work load. Heagle is 5-9 with a 4.56 ERA and 56 K's. Manor is 3-9 and a save with a 3.98 ERA 45 K's

The double elimination tournament will start on May 3rd and the championship game will be on May 5th.  Games will be streamed live from the host Dawson Community College's website. http://dawsonbucs.com/landing/index The winner of the Region XIII Tournament will host the District Championship on May 15-16 with the winner advancing to the National Tournament.
