Rosemount, Minn. - The DCTC Blue Knights Softball team opened up play on their new home field on Friday with a couple of wins behind improved pitching and defensive balance.  The games mark the first games played on UMore Softball Fields on the south end of the DCTC campus. The double header against Lake Region State College (ND) served as the opening two games for the Region XIII league. Head Coach Tom Cross was pleased with the day as he always knew his team could bat and run. It was his freshman dominated team that would have to find consistent pitching to battle through the season.
