The Blue Knights softball team of Dakota County Technical College win three of the last four games during spring training trip to Florida.
Clermont Florida - The Dakota County Technical College softball team traveled to Clermont, Florida to play teams from all over the nation. Cassy Gerchy (Freshman Sauk Rapids) collected her first two pitching wins on the mound and Annica Sierra (Freshman St. Paul) earned her first pitching win. Leading the Knights offensively was Felecia Romero (Freshman Westlake UT) with 8 hits and Jordyn Breitbarth (Freshman Hilo, HI) with 10 hits during the spring training games.
On the eight game trip, the Blue Knights had two come from behinds victories. The win came after being down by three runs to end up winning the game against Madison College 8-4. Against Anderson University, DCTC was down six runs and bounced back to win the game 11-10.
The Blue Knights return from Florida on Wednesday and continue action this weekend holding the Blue Knight Crossover Tournament March 27th and 28th at the Rosemount Dome.
