Danville, IL – Game 11 featured the last game of day two and an elimination game of Dakota
County Technical College and Macomb Community College in the 2017 NJCAA Division II Men's
Basketball National Tournament.

The first basket of the game came with 15:51 left in the first half after both teams missed on their first 12 shots combined. Vince Ramaci splashed a three from the left slot to get the game scoring started. Another three from Jake Bradsher and the Monarchs had built a 6-2 lead. Dakota County kept pace as Termaine Daniels scored five of the teams first nine. But Bradsher hit yet another three, his third, and the Monarchs led 14-9 with 11 minutes left in the half. Dakota County broke a five-minute scoring lapse when Martez Rodgers scored a bucket and with 7:51 in left in the half, Macomb led 18-11. Just when Dakota County came within striking distance at 20-17, Macomb reeled off six quick points and bumped their lead back up to nine, 26-17 capped off by a spinning layup from Ramaci. Macomb's largest lead of 11 dwindled down to six before the half.

For the first four minutes, the teams exchanged baskets and Macomb had slightly increased
their lead from six to eight. Adreon Waddlington started to score for the Blue Knights. After leading the charge in their first game he scored four quick points and Rodgers added a three an with 13:40 left Dakota County was again within striking distance at 46-41.
But Macomb would spark an 11-2 run and have the lead back up to 14 before Dakota County
could catch their breath, eventually taking a timeout. The timeout wouldn't help and the bleeding continued. The Monarchs put in three more buckets and expanded the lead to 20, 63-43 with eight minutes to go in the game.

Over the final eight minutes, the closest Dakota County could get was 13. Macomb cruised to a 82-67 victory. Macomb Community College advances to play the Winner of Game 12: Essex County College vs.St. Louis Community College on Friday at 11:00am CDT. Dakota County Technical College is eliminated from the 2017 NJCAA Division II Men's Basketball National Tournament.
