Blue Knights Win 12th Straight - Set Program Record

Competitive Schedule Remains – Iowa Central Up On Saturday

Rosemount, Minn. - The 17th ranked DCTC Blue Knights won their 12th consecutive game at home on Wednesday by defeating AFLBS 90-46.  The 12 straight games without a loss set a record for the program. The previous record, an 11 game winning streak, was set in 2011 just before the Knights came up short the Regional Championship.

Tim Lott (Sophomore College Station, TX) led the way for DCTC contributing 17 points.  DCTC's roster saw 12 different players see court time on Wednesday.  DCTC was running thin with injuries earlier in the week and only utilized eight players last Saturday in a win at Crossroads College.

DCTC now travels to Fort Dodge Iowa on Saturday to take on the Tritons who defeated DCTC at home in November.  Coach Ben Davis noted "The win streak is great and should be celebrated, but we need to get back to business as our remaining schedule really heats up prior to playoffs".
