Update: #19 Blue Knights Add Two Wins on the Week

Rochester, Minn. - A strong performance from five sophomores helped DCTC surge past host Crossroads College on Saturday night. With a bench plagued with injuries and illness, DCTC started five sophomores and used three freshman substitutes to win 104-74. The win was DCTC's 11th in row and ties a program record for most consecutive wins.

Sam Burt (sophomore, Apple Valley), who set a single game scoring record (36) on Wednesday scored 32 points and had 10 rebounds against Crossroads. Andrew Aakre (sophomore, Champlin) had 24 points and seven assists while Tim Lott (sophomore, College Station, TX) sank 11 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and blocked two shots. Head Coach Ben Davis said "It's scary going into a game only suiting up eight guys. All eight had to play an increased role and I was very proud of the way we stepped up."
