#10 Heartland CC 9 DCTC 1

The Blue Knights fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 9-1 loss to Heartland CC on Tuesday. Heartland CC took the lead on a single in the first inning. The Blue Knights struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Heartland CC, giving up nine runs. In the first inning, Heartland CC got their offense started when T. McHolland singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run. Heartland CC scored three runs in the fifth inning.  Dalton Hoffman took the loss for Blue Knights. He allowed five hits and seven runs over four and a third innings. Trent Fredenburg went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead DCTC in hits.

DCTC 2 #10 Heartland CC 1 (9 innings)

The Blue Knights defeated Heartland CC 2-1 on Tuesday thanks to a walk-off single. The game was tied at one with Blue Knights batting in the bottom of the ninth when Carter Wendlandt singled, to scoring Trent Fredenburg from second base. The pitching was strong on both sides. Blue Knights pitchers struck out six, while Heartland CC pitchers sat down 14. Blue Knights got things started in the first inning when L Patzner's wild pitch allowed one run to score for Blue Knights. Heartland CC evened things up at one in the top of the fourth inning. T. Sullivan drove in one when he singled. Spencer Kopp earned the victory on the pitcher's mound. He lasted two innings, allowing one hit and zero runs while striking out two and walking zero. John McCaustlin started the game for the Blue Knights. He surrendered one run on five hits over seven innings, striking out four and walking one. Wendlandt went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead DCTC in hits.

DCTC 11 Montgomery CC 5

The Blue Knights claimed a 11-5 victory on Wednesday morning. Blue Knights fired up the offense in the first inning, scoring two runs. DCTC tallied five runs in the seventh inning. Parker Savard, Trent Fredenburg, and Wyatt Lampel all moved runners across the plate with RBI in the inning. Alex Winslow earned the victory on the hill. He went six innings, allowing one run on three hits and striking out ten. Carter Wendlandt led the Blue Knights with two hits in three at bats. 

DCTC 4 Montgomery CC 3

Blue Knights took their game in dramatic walk-off fashion, thanks to a walk-off single by Parker Savard at the end of the game to topple Montgomery College (MD). The game was tied at three with DCTC batting in the bottom of the seventh when Brad Goulet drew a walk, then stole second and third base. before Savard singled and scored  scoring Goulet. Jack Stoddard led the Blue Knights to victory on the pitcher's mound. He went three and two-thirds innings, allowing zero runs on two hits, striking out two and walking zero.  Caleb Ditmarson started the game for DCTC. Gus Newman, Carter Wendlandt, Savard, Wyatt Lampel, and Brad Goulet all had hits for the Blue Knights.
