DCTC 5 College Of Lake County 2

The Blue Knights snagged a late lead and defeated College of Lake County 5-2 on Thursday. The game was tied at one with Blue Knights batting in the top of the seventh when Brad Goulet doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring three runs. In the first inning, Blue Knights got their offense started. Henry Laue grounded out, scoring Goulet. In the bottom of the fourth inning, College of Lake County tied things up at one when K. White singled, scoring one run. Dalton Hoffman toed the rubber for Blue Knights. He went six and a third innings, allowing two runs on five hits and striking out six. Jack Stodard came in for the final two-thirds of an inning to pick the save. 

College Of Lake County 11 DCTC 3

DCTC had trouble keeping up with College of Lake County in an 11-3 loss on Thursday night. Blue Knights captured the lead in the second inning. Parker Savard singled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs. College of Lake County knotted the game up at three in the top of the third inning. College of Lake County scored two runs when C Drake singled. College of Lake County took the lead for good with five runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth L Van Deslunt tripled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, S Mogged singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, Spencer Kopp threw a wild pitch allowing one run across the plate for College of Lake County , and T Rigali singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run. John McCaustlin took the loss for Blue Knights. He lasted three innings, allowing seven hits and seven runs while striking out five. Savard, Trent Fredenburg, Joe Garcia, Shane Brown, Jonah Lewis, and Goulet all had a hit.

DCTC 5 Glen Oaks CC 2

The Blue Knights were victorious over Glen Oaks CC, 4-1. Blue Knights fired up the offense in the second inning. B Baker threw a wild pitch allowing one run across the plate for Blue Knights. Alex Winslow led the Blue Knights to victory on the hill. He lasted seven innings, allowing seven hits and one run while striking out seven and walking zero. Clayton Harris led Blue Knights with two hits in three at bats.

DCTC 5 Glen Oaks CC 2

DCTC defeated Glen Oaks CC 7-0 on Friday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Blue Knights secured the victory thanks to five runs in the sixth inning. The Blue Knights big bats were led by Clayton Harris, Henry Laue, Trent Fredenburg, and Wendlandt, all knocking in runs in the inning. The Blue Knights got things started in the first inning when Harris doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run. Blue Knights put up five runs in the sixth inning. Harris, Laue, Fredenburg, and Wendlandt all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning. Jake Wensmann pitched the Blue Knights to victory. He surrendered zero runs on two hits over six innings, striking out six. Cernohous threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. Blue Knights racked up seven hits. Harris and Fredenburg both managed multiple hits for Blue Knights.
