Seven teams to participate in Region 13 double elimination tournament

The two-time defending Region 13 champion DCTC Blue Knights, will be hosting the National Junior College Athletic Association Division II Regional Championship Baseball Tournament on Friday, May 8 through Monday, May 11th, 2015 at the DCTC Ames Field, located at 1300 – 145th Street East (Dakota County Road 42) in Rosemount.

Teams will be traveling to DCTC to participate in the double elimination Championship. Teams include: DCTC, Lake Region State College, Bismarck State College, Dakota College at Bottineau, Williston State College, Dawson Community College and South East Community College.

Games run all day Friday and Saturday with semifinals and a championship on Sunday. If needed, the championship series may run into Monday, May 11.

Seeding and opponants will be made on Sunday night and be published Monday May 4th. The public, faculty and staff are encouraged to attend. The gate charge is $10.00 per day or a weekend pass may be purchased for $20.00 with children under 12 are admitted for free.
