Winning streak halted in non-conference play

North Iowa Area Community College hosted and frustrated the Dakota County Technical College in a double header on Wednesday.  DCTC lost two tight games, both by the score of 5-4.  The losses, on a cold and blustery Mason City Day ended DCTC's five game winning streak. DCTC is now 7-11 on the season but still remain undefeated (4-0) in NJCAA regional league play.

"I was very pleased with how we played against NIACC who are one of the top three teams their conference. I think we showed we can play a very good level" said Coach Trent Seaman. "We are very close to pulling facets of our game together, if we can pull it together we will let the results take care of themselves".

DCTC will be back in regional play this weekend traveling to North Dakota to play Bismarck State College at Mandan Fields.  The four games series will prove to be pivotal in the Blue Knights goal of winning regular season league and earning the number one seed for the 2015 NJCAA Regional Tournament that will be played at DCTC May 8-11.
