Blue Knights Drop Tight Four Set Battle at Anoka Ramsey

In what was a hard‑fought match, the DCTC Blue Knights fell in four sets on the road to the Anoka‑Ramsey Golden Rams.

From the opening whistle, both teams exchanged runs and momentum, with neither side willing to concede an inch. The Rams managed to take the first set, but the Blue Knights responded in the second. As the match progressed, long rallies, smart shot selection, and tenacious defense defined the contest.

  • Set 1: Anoka‑Ramsey captured the opening set, edging out DCTC 23-25.
  • Set 2: DCTC bounced back to force extra points but lost the set 24-26.
  • Set 3: DCTC then came out with aggressive hitting and effective serving to win 25-16.
  • Set 4: The Blue Knights fell behind early, fought hard but fell short in the end 18-25.

Although the Blue Knights didn't come away with the win, they pressed the Rams across every set and demonstrated grit that will carry forward into the rest of the season.

This loss is a tough pill, but there's much to build on for the Blue Knights. Competitive matches like this strengthen resilience and expose areas to sharpen. DCTC returns home against MN North – Itasca this Friday 10/3 with sharper focus for their next challenge.
