Blue Knights Volleyball announces Sonje Odegard as Assistant Coach

The DCTC Blue Knight Volleyball Program is excited to welcome Sonje Odegard as our 1st Assistant Coach, beginning with the 2025–26 season.

A Minneapolis native, Sonje played high school volleyball at Minneapolis Washburn and continued her playing career at Dakota County Technical College (DCTC). She brings with her nine years of coaching experience at both the club and high school levels. Most recently, she served as the Varsity Head Coach for the girls' program at St. Paul Highland Park and the boys' program at St. Louis Park.

Head Coach Olmanson shares, "Sonje brings with her a very high level of knowledge of the sport. Her passion for volleyball and her dedication to working with athletes is obvious."

We are thrilled to add her to our coaching staff and look forward to her being a consistent and impactful presence in the gym and on the bench this season.
