DCTC Softball has announced the signing of shortstop Rhiannon Horien. Rhiannon comes from Northern Freeze High School. She is an outstanding multisport athlete in softball and volleyball. Her parents are Scott and Bobbi Horien. She was a North Border All Conference Honorable Mention twice in softball and All Conference in volleyball this past fall. Her softball coach is Tom Maki. Rhiannon plans on going into Exercise and Sports Science. Coach Tom Cross says, "Rhiannon is a diamond in the rough coming out of northern Minnesota! I'm hoping for big things next year! She has talent and will be a great addition to our school and athletic programs!"
