Dakota County Technical College Women's Soccer End of Season Awards:

The Dakota County Technical College Women's Soccer team played in the Spring this year due to Covid, instead of the normal Fall season. The team played in the Iowa Conference this spring for games, as no non-conference were able to be played as DCTC was the only junior college in Minnesota that played soccer this year.

The following awards were given for the Spring season, congratulations to all players for earning these awards.

All-Conference First Team: Alissa Merrick, Freshman, Defender

All-Conference Second Team: Abigail Gotham, Freshman, Goalkeeper

All-Conference Honorable Mention: Sierra Rudolph, Sophomore, Midfielder

All-Conference Honorable Mention: Lily Hernandez, Sophomore, Forward

Offensive Player of the Year: Lily Hernandez, Sophomore, Forward & Sierra Rudolph, Sophomore, Midfielder

Defensive Player of the Year: Alissa Merrick, Freshman, Defender

Freshman of the Year: Molly Miller, Freshman, Defender

Practice player of the Year: Courtney Syverson, Freshman, Defender & Midfielder

Most Improved Player of the Year: Taylor Sneen, Freshman, Midfielder & Brenda Vargas, Sophomore, Midfielder       

Blue Knight Award: Ashlyn Nystuen, Sophomore, Goalkeeper & Forward

Most Valuable Player: Alissa Merrick, Freshman, Defender
