Men's Soccer Returns From Road Trip

Men's Soccer Returns From Road Trip

The DCTC Men's Soccer team has started off their season 0-3-0, but has played well enough to win all three games.  The team has done many good things in each game, but has struggled with some of the little things that makes or breaks a game; the opposition has taken advantage of those mistakes.  DCTC traveled to Anoka-Ramsey Community College and lost 3-0 to open the season.  The Blue Knights played well, but were overcome by speed up front from Anoka.

Over Labor Day weekend, the team traveled to Gillette, Wyomging.  They faced two excellent teams over the weekend dropping the first match 3-1 to Gillette in a spiritied game which saw one player ejected from each team and the coach from Gillette.  Sunday, the men lost 3-2 to Western Nebraska.  The game was tied 2-2 at halftime, and late in the game despite having multiple opportunities to tie the game, the team could not find the net.

The men look to rebound in their upcoming game against Lake Superior at DCTC on Saturday, September 7th at 5:00pm.
