AOTW: Meghan Larson

DCTC Soccer Player, Meghan Larson leads the Blue Knights in scoring for the 2016 season.

1: Where are you from?
A: I am from Inver Grove Heights Minnesota 

2: When did you start playing soccer and why?
A: I started playing soccer when I was 4, It looked like something I'd really enjoy. 

3: What is your major and what are your career hopes?
A: I am an exercise sports science major and I plan to be an animal physical therapist.

4: What is one unique fact about you?
A: A unique fact about me would be that I really enjoy hunting and fishing, not many people would guess that about me. 

5: How did you get started playing soccer?
A: I got involved in soccer because my sister played it and i really enjoyed watching her play it. I love it because theres no better feeling than being on a team and kicking a ball.

6: Why did you choose to go to DCTC for school?
A: I chose DCTC because it is very close to my house and I just wasn’t ready to leave for a 4 year school.

7: What is your greatest accomplishment both personally and as an athlete?
A: My greatest personal accomplishment would be making the presidents list here at DCTC. my greatest athletic accomplishment would be the points I have earned this season so far.

8: When do you graduate and what are your plans after?
A: I hope to graduate this spring with my 2 year then transfer to a 4 year and graduate from there.

9: How long have you been on the team and what's your favorite memory?
A: This is my second year being on the soccer team, i really enjoy being on the team because the people I have met through soccer are some of the best, I will come out of DCTC with a great experience of playing soccer.
