Volleyball continues to roll with two more wins on the road

Blue Knights Volleyball continutes to roll with two more wins on the road

The Blue Knights volleyball team picked up 2 more wins on the road this weekend. They traveled to LaCrosse, WI to face off against Western Technical College and Ellsworth Community College. 

The Knights beat Western Tech in 4 sets (25-21, 18-25, 25-17, 25-21). Mackenna Johnson led the team with 19 kills and 14 digs. Haily Dabrowski led the defensive effort with 18 digs and also had 3 aces. Anika Weber had 42 assists, 16 digs, and 4 aces.

In the second match against Ellsworth, the Knights won the first set 25-21, and then battled from behind 20-24 to come back and win the second set 29-27. They cruised on to victory in the 3rd set winning 25-15. Laila Chaplin led the offense with 11 kills. Mackenna had 10 kills and 11 digs. Anika had 36 assists, and 14 digs. Sam Carr added 6 kills.

The Knights improved their record to 14-8 and take on Century College on Wednesday, and then are back home Friday and Saturday for 4 matches - 3:30pm/7:30pm on Friday 10/19 and 2pm/6pm on Saturday 10/20.
