Blue Knights Volleyball Picks up 2 more Wins

​The Blue Knight volleyball team picked up 2 more home wins over the past week. They played Western Tech on Wednesday at home, and then played Anoka Ramsey last night at Anoka.

On Wednesday, the Knights beat Western Tech in 4 sets (25-13, 26-28, 25-14, 25-20). Mackenna Johnson had a double-double with 15 kills and 21 digs. She also led the team with a career high 6 aces. Lexi Wendland added 12 kills and Sam Carr had 8. Anika Weber had 45 assists and 19 digs.

Monday night, the Knights were on the road at Anoka Ramsey and made quick work of the Golden Rams. They beat them in 3 straight sets (25-9, 25-7, 25-12).

The Knights were led by Sam Carr with 10 kills (.600%), 3 blocks, and 1 ace. Mackenna Johnson added 9 kills and 10 digs. Laila Chaplin added 8 kills. Sonje Odegard led the team with 4 aces. Haily Dabrowski led the defensive effort with 19 digs.

The Knights head on the road Saturday at Western Tech, where they will play Western Tech and Ellsworth.
