DCTC is seeded #7 in the national tournament, DCTC (25–5) faces the Lakeland Community College Lakers (26–6) in Game 6 Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at 8:30 p.m. CST. Lakeland is the #10 seed in the tourney. The winner of Game 6 plays the winner of Game 4, either the #2 seed Johnson County Community College Cavaliers (28–4), ranked #3 in the nation, or the #15 seed Pitt Community College Bulldogs (23–8) in Game 11 Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at 8 p.m. CST.
